Not really -- it was apparently never enabled from upstream.
I've updated parrot to 1.6.0nb1, adding shared library build for
NetBSD and fixing it so that all the C-language tests also link
properly against the build-directory shared library.
I have made a half-hearted attempt at supporting Darwin, via
PLIST.Darwin, but it needs testing & verification.
I've requested a pull-up to pkgsrc-2009Q3 for this revision.
I expect to commit an update to parrot to 1.7.0 shortly (I
actually did that part first, and back-ported the 1.6.0nb1 change
