I'm not familiar neither xz nor lzma, but as far as I can get from xz's 
homepage,
XZ Utils is formerly known as LZMA Utils 5.
So, I think archivers/xz is successor of archiver/lzma-utils.
(or did you want to say about file format, not for package?)
