You're going to have to help me out with this one - I maintain
standalone-tcsh (I presume this is what the commit message refers to),
and the package itself builds, installs and de-installs just fine,
thanks.  I don't remember agreeing anything about any CHECK_FILES
test.

If the build/install infrastructure needs workarounds to accommodate
standalone-tcsh, then fine, put the workarounds in, but please don't
blame standalone-tcsh for the short-comings of another part of the
system.
