Can you explain to me how this is working perfectly in the default
case, when, well, the bulk builds run the default case, and this
clearly isn't working.

If it's a case of transitioning everything to teTeX3, let's do it.  If
it's a case of fixing a package to work with teTeX2 *AND* teTeX3,
let's do it.  If it's a case of not including this package as a
pre-requisite from another, then let's do it.

Let's cure the root cause of this problem, please, and *then* it can
be marked as working.
