there was inconsistency between the use of "ise" and "ize" that I
noticed as I was looking for something else. I defaulted to fixing
them to be the American spelling, as TNF is a legal entity in the US
(and we already use the American spellings everywhere throughout code
and documentation).

I don't believe this situation is documented anywhere, but I will ask
core@ for clarification on this.
