Yes, I actually started to fix PR pkg/21814, but I noted that the
kstars homepage contains the following text:

   Note to packagers: If your distribution normally ships a kdeedu
   package, rather than individual packages for each app, _please_do_
   _not_package_the_CVS_snapshot_.

so I thought it was appropriate to remove it...
