mk/, if /usr/bin/gpatch does not exist, uses
${LOCALBASE}/bin/patch -- that was the original reason why I
didn't do it this way.

Of course, we could let the package install ${LOCALBASE}/bin/patch
anyway, or ${LOCALBASE}/bin/gpatch, similar to what gmake does.
