Yes, as Julio suggested, it supports the various Mozilla/linux plugins
that are available.

It is also easier to keep up to date than the source package, which
tends to lag behind (similar to phoenix-linux vs. phoenix), especially
for those who have slower internet connections and/or systems as it is
a much smaller package.

For those who already have the Linux compat libs installed, it is far
quicker to install than the native Mozilla package and doesn't cause
as much "dependancy fun". :-)

It can also co-exist with the native Mozilla package, I currently have
five mozilla-based browsers installed and I use them all :-)
