Actually, people who are fortunate enough to have an IR port that show
up as a regular serial port can use these programs regardless of the
NetBSD version.

I'm not sure if Lennart has checked that they still compile on older
systems, but if not it should be trivial to fix. I have used the
programs for about two years... ;-)
