so, doing this was very helpful and I hope you have another one going
to catch up with updates... but there seem to be some issues.

 - A number of packages die with "gzip: Undefined PLT symbol
"_libc_init" (symnum = 39)", e.g. audio/audacity. I assume this is a
problem on your build host. :(

 - Some other packages die with gcc receiving SIGSEGV; I hope this
isn't also a problem on your build host, but I fear it may be.

 - A number of builds (e.g. gimp) ran out of disk space.
