Which is presumably from the:

.if ${OPSYS} == "SunOS"
CONFIGURE_SCRIPT=       ${SH} ./configure

in Makefile.common which was added a few years ago because the Solaris 9 
(maybe 8) /bin/sh couldn't handle the script and it definitely still works on 
9 so whats up with the Solaris 10 /bin/ksh?
