Are there any objections to renaming the files to .broken.txt instead of .broken.html? And, of course removing the leading "<pre>"? The code that writes the "<pre>" is misplaced anyway, as it writes that tag already to the .broken file, which should really be considered text/plain.

Obviously, the HTML quotation is not done right. But I found some instances where HTML tags are written to that file. I'm doing some work to generate valid (and nice) HTML in the build logs. I'll let you know when I've finished.
