Re: pkg/43726 (Tru64: sysutils/dbus fails to compile because Tru64 is lacking vsyslog() implementation)



Hi Chris,

Obviously it'd have to be a pkgsrc many years more recent if we'd try
again. I understand your intent of cleaning up old stale PRs, however
I've got two questions:

1.) Will these PRs remain accessible by searching for closed PRs?
Some of the hints recorded in them might help solving issues even
with much newer versions of software as the Tru64 side is pretty
much the same as it was a few years ago?

2.) Will closing these PRs mean that Tru64 as a consideration
will sink from the conscious into oblivion?
