meta-pkgs/texlive-collection-latexrecommended includes the package textproc/tex-lwarp. This depends on textproc/xindy and thus on lang/clisp.

CLisp is IMHO a "heavy" dependency, which is not easily built on some platforms. At the moment, lang/clisp does not compile for Solaris/sparc, other platforms might not be supported at all.

In addition, and again IMHO, tex-lwarp is not a typical (La)TeX-application, that the casual document writer in need of a LaTeX installation will be looking for. If tex-lwarp is really necessary, it can just as well be installed separately.
