The current version 1.97.3 of benchmarks/bonnie++ is not usable on at least NetBSD 7.1.1 and 8.0 RC1. It bails out with

$ bonnie++ -d .
Large File Support not present, can't do 4096M.

OTOH, it works on e.g. Solaris.
