This has so-far been successful on two amd64-8.0_BETA hosts.

Tests on i386 with the modified compiler to begin soon.

Without the patch from PR toolchain/52326, the only workaround so far
is not to install "sysutils/gvfs". Packages which support the "gvfs"
option should disable it (or do so in PKG_DEFAULT_OPTIONS). Packages
which unconditionally install "sysutils/gvfs" as a dependency should be
built last, if possible. Otherwise, forcibly delete "gvfs" each time
a package pulls it in, and then explicitly build it last.

The only question left is whether my explicit installation of
"sysutils/gvfs" before any other affected packages invalidates the test.
Another round of building packages with "sysutils/gvfs" built in its
normal sequence as a dependency of "sysutils/xfce4-thunar" would likely
be needed to answer that question.
