 Interesting.
 
 Your workaround might explain why completely nuking all traces of packages
 and starting from scratch generally succeeds (on amd64 at least).
 
 To be clear, my problem begins with failing to build
 "gobject-introspection" itself, nevermind other packages that require
 it.  For the one package I can't workaround with an "-introspection" option,
 installing "gobject-introspection" built for 7.1_STABLE works.
 
 Any thoughts on why starting with a TNF snapshot build works, but after
 updating to my own local release builds it fails?
