 The fact that your /etc/mk.conf is so long is worrying to me. Could you =
 try building without /etc/mk.conf? That should work on NetBSD, in =
 principle.
 
 If some dependencies cannot be found even though =E2=80=9Emake=E2=80=9C =
 in the source directory works, that=E2=80=99s due to buildlink =
 (https://www.netbsd.org/docs/pkgsrc/buildlink.html). However, that =
 should not happen unless you are working on pkgsrc itself; the problem =
 is likely different, something about cwrappers.
 
 It is not clear from your description if the compilation failures are =
 reproducible. If they are, please send the work/.work.log for that =
 compilation, and the error message that goes with it.=
