 I set up a system and installed the TNF 201607292120Z snapshot for amd64
 on local disk.  With this setup, all packages previously reported as
 failing built without problem.
 
 Installing this same snapshot for (semi-)diskless operation by the same
 host, building "devel/gobject-instrospection" fails in the same manner
 as originally reported.  Likewise other packages reported as failing.
 
 Perhaps everything needs to be rebuilt.
 
 I plan a similar test on my i386 local-disk installation soon.
 
 I'll also reboot the local-disk amd64 install and see if the problem
 packages can be built again (as the NFS install built initially, but
 cannot be built again).
 
 In any event, I completely wiped out the target directories on my build
 hosts and have rebuilt everything from scratch with sources updated as
 of 201607302222Z.
