Lately I need thrift to satisfy a dependency of other project (osquery
port for NetBSD). Currently pkgsrc ships with rather older release and
it doesn't handle the full spectrum of languages available. There is
an interesting approach in FreeBSD ports to package each binding for
each language in a separated package.

Also 'libthrift' isn't clear name and resulted in quick wip/thrift draft
