 NB1: I don't (and won't) have binutils installed, so Solaris' linker is 
 used. No wonder a package called "util-*linux*" has problems.
 
 NB2: I specifically did not open a PR for libuuid, because I have no 
 interest in fixing that package.

 Every other OS besides Linux and (supposedly) Solaris misses this 
 functionality, and the package compiles. I personally can live with this 
 situation.
