}  I had duplicated the problem of original submitter while
}  doing (cd /usr/pkgsrc/mail/sendmail; make package).

     I'm going to modify the calls to "install" to omit "-o" and
"-g".  Because sendmail generates its Makefiles using m4 macros,
this can easily be done in a central location.  I need to leave
for work very shortly, but will commit this in about 10 hours.
