>Description:

After updating all my packages yesterday tex doesn't work:

   % pdflatex foo.tex
   This is pdfTeX, Version 3.1415926-2.5-1.40.14 (Web2C 2013)

   kpathsea: Running mktexfmt pdflatex.fmt
   /usr/pkg/bin/mktexfmt: /usr/pkg/share/texmf/texconfig/tcfmgr: not found
fmtutil: config file `fmtutil.cnf' not found.
   I can't find the format file `pdflatex.fmt'!
   Exit 1

(not just pdflatex; latex, pdftex, tex all do the same thing)

tcfmgr is in /usr/pkg/share/texmf-dist, not texmf.

This is not perl 5.20 fallout; another machine I updated a week
earlier (20140530) has perl 5.20 but tex works.

Could be some kind of local build issue but as far as I can tell all
the tex packages are up to date and none of them have unsafe_depends.

I tried rebuilding tex-tetex (mktexfmt is in tex-tetex) but that
didn't help.

I also don't see anything matching tex- in pkgsrc-changes between
20140530 and today, except for the perl 5.20 mass revbump, so I have
no idea what to make of this.

>How-To-Repeat:

as above

>Fix:
Probably simple if you know which of a bazillion tex files to adjust.
