>Description:
firefox is unable to restore the previous session. Except for the
very first time an old profile from a previous version of firefox is loaded.

I noticed that after exiting firefox the new sessionstore.js is massively
larger than the one from the old firefox version.

The firefox support pages have vague hints that this may be caused by errors
during firefox start-up. Specifically the GLXtest aborting with a core dump.

Session restore is kinda flaky in firefox17 from pkgsrc-2013Q3 too. But at
least I've always got the "oops, there was something wrong with the session
restore" page and could restore the previous session by clicking on that page's
"restore" button.
