 - the project's Web page as mentioned in the PR,

   unmaintained (e.g., containing outdated links);

   Web page, redirects directly back to <http://fenix.divsite.net>;
 - <http://sourceforge.net/projects/fenix/> mentions
   ``Last Update: 2009-07-17'';
 - the Wikipedia article being referenced in the PR (permanent link
   of its current version:
   <http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Fenix_Project&oldid=496684154>),
   even though probably outdated and / or questionable regarding
   its contents itself (as stated within it), mentions the project's
   stagnated status (`Status' section), as well as availabilty of
   a better maintained, more up-to-date fork called BennuGD (Bennu
   Game Development).
 
 In short: this project is, or at least looks, unmaintained, and
 thus does no longer need to be added to pkgsrc.
 
 Aside of closing this PR because of the reasons stated above, the
 patch for pkgsrc/doc/TODO attached (with a proposed commit message
 in the top lines of it) may be reviewed and applied: it replaces
 the Fenix Project entry (added with revision 1.7001 of the file,
 and done so because of this PR) with one for BennuGD, thereby not
 just removing the former, but also maintaining the spirit of this
 PR with adding the latter.
