When devel/monotone was upgraded from 0.99 to 0.99.1
(last November 30) the version of devel/monotone-el
was updated to match (which makes sense) but the
distinfo file in devel/monotone-el was not updated
(it uses its own copy, it doesn't share the one from
        devel/monotone which it could)

        cd ..../pkgsrc/devel/monotone-el
        make checksum

Expect to see something like ...

=> Bootstrap dependency digest>=20010302: found digest-20080510
checksum: No checksum recorded for monotone-0.99.1.tar.gz
ERROR: Make sure the Makefile and checksum file
ERROR: are up to date. If you want to override this check, type
ERROR: "/usr/bin/make NO_CHECKSUM=yes [other args]".
*** Error code 1

Either copy the distinfo file from devel/monotone to
devel/monotone-el, or update monotone-el to share the
distinfo file from devel/monotone (and remove the monotone-el
distinfo file). I don't know enough about the package
to have any idea which is preferable. (I don't use either
version, I just check that I have all distfiles for all packages,
where the distfile is freely available).
