This got filed as a new PR owing to a combination of gnats issues and
not using the right PR number in the subject line.

I do no longer have a working SGI IRIX setup to work with. So I'm unable
  to validate.

But it seems that current nautilus-2.32.0 source code does not rely
  anymore on the fstab.h include.

  nautilus-2.32.0$ grep 'fstab.h' -r .
./ChangeLog-20041029: building shared library on win32 platform. Check
  fstab.h.
  ./ChangeLog-20041029: Include fstab.h conditionaly.

Therefor I would assume that at least this specific problem is not an
  issue anymore.

  Regards,
  Bas
