On two different NetBSD system I that I look afeter the ownership of "/var"
got messed up by upgrading the "majordomo" package:

tron@colwyn:/var/tmp>ls -la

This did of course cause various problems.

cd pkgsrc/mail/majordomo
make USE_DESTDIR=yes package && make clean
sudo pkg_add -u ../../packages/All/majordomo-1.94.5nb12.tgz
