 Fortunately, exisiting cidfmap is logically empty, and ghostscript does
 not necessarily expect the file there, we may rename the name of cidfmap.
 
 I would propose the another patch, as

 This includes
 (1)  (options.mk) add option to disable-compile-init
 (2)  (Makefile)   mv cidfmap cidfmap.dist at post-extract:
                   add MESSAGE_SUBST for above PATH
 (3)  (PLIST)      rename cidfmap to cidfmap.dist in PLIT
 (4)  (MESSAGE)    New file to note cidfmap customization
 
 # rename to cidfmap.example instead of cidfmap.dist ?
