 I think we seriously need to consider what the oldest support version
 os X should be and treat anything earlier as automatically modular.
 Which side of that line Xfree 4.4 in OS X 10.4 comes may be open to
 question. For now the latest changes to x11/Xfixes (via option 'c')
 appear to have fixed my issues (will leave the rebuild overnight). If
 people with similar errors would like to try I'd be interested to hear
 their results.
