Re: pkg/42683

The following reply was made to PR pkg/42683; it has been noted by GNATS.

 Yesterday I tried::

        cd math/octave
        cvs up -dP -D 2009/02/01
        make install

 and again the same result::

        panic: Segmentation fault -- stopping myself...

 and

        file /usr/pkg/libexec/octave/3.0.3/oct/i386--netbsdelf/find.oct

        /usr/pkg/libexec/octave/3.0.3/oct/i386--netbsdelf/find.oct: ELF
        32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV),
        dynamically linked (uses shared libs), for NetBSD 5.0, stripped

 So I deduce the problem might not be in math/octave itself, but
 somewhere else - libtool, or ..., as I believe that time (2009/02/01)
 octave did work well. Unfortunately I don't have a spare computer to
 rebuild all pkgsrc-2009Q1 or so to test this.
