 OK, if this one isn't a bug, please just close the PR and ignore it.
 
 My build environment normally leaves no records of the build process of
 packages that build successfully - those aren't interesting, and this one
 did build successfully.   As I indicated, I just happened to see the warning
 scroll past in an xterm, and thought I should make it known before it got
 totally forgotten.
