I've justed test samba-3.0.37nb running under NetBSD/amd64 5.0_STABLE
with a Windows XP Pro SP3 client:
1.) I copied a directory with 5,000 files with sizez between 1MB and
    5MB without problems (both source and target where on a Samba share).
2.) I afterwards removed both directories using the same SMB client.
There were no problems, the "smbd" child process didn't crash.

As I cannot reproduce the problem with the current version of the
samba package and the submitter is in no position to try again
I have closed this PR.
