Please update your pkgsrc tree and try again.
As your suggested patch, you have Makefile rev1.16,
but pkgsrc-2009Q3 and HEAD both should have rev1.17.
And it seems this problem is same as PR#41657 and already should be fixed
in both pkgsrc-2009Q3 and HEAD.
