        After the updates of 4 days or so ago, pkgsrc started
        reporting that some of the patches in x11/xview-config
        contain invalid checksums

        cd ..../pkgsrc/x11/xview-config
        make patch

        I actually did that in a pkg_comp sandbox (etc...) but I can't
        see how that's conceivably relevant here...

        That's all the patches there are.    Most of the checksums
        for the patches weren't updated as part of the recent (add DESTDIR
        support) upgrade, though the patches all were it seem, but even
        those that were changed in (or added to) distinfo are invalid

        "make distinfo" works to fix it, I think there are other
        make targets that would do as well.
