This PR was submitted 4 and a half years ago, and I'm sorry it took
so long to address this one. The world's moved on a bit, and I think
that we should do too - bzip2 is much more accepted these days (we're
now discussing xz as a compression format). I still think that we should
be conservative in adopting new compression formats for distfiles, but
we should probably have addressed this one before now. Sorry about that.
