 Dear Mr. Grant,

you are heartily invited to work on pkgsrc for the same wages as I do:
the honor to take part in a community effort, some very small amout of
fame (or notoriety) and the good feeling to not only receive, but also
to give something back to the Open Source idea.

What ever gave you the idea that the people working on pkgsrc and
NetBSD (or most people working on OSS projects) were being paid for that?
Some people do get paid, but usually their employers just want an extra
feature and are good enough to donate it back when it's done.
Good luck finding someone who cares about LMMS enough to employ you for it.
I quite doubt the original programmers of LMMS are getting more than a
 reputation for it either.

 regards,
        spz
