The previous version (1.1.5nb2) did compile.

I am unsure if using Solaris' native libcrypt is a good idea. skey is built as 
dependency of security/openssh, which in turn uses security/openssl and the 
libcrypt provided there.

BTW: The MASTER_SITE http://www.sparc.spb.su/solaris/skey/ does not exist.
