I upgraded a tnftpd-20061217 to tnftpd-20081009 on an oldish Linux system.
All ftp users could not log in anymore. Building with and without option pam
did not make a difference. This system runs tnftpd as root. The login was
aborted right after entering the username, no password was requested.

No idea how to find out details and can't realy play on this system (which also
happens to be the only Linux system I have access to).
