Hi Jeremy, The patches section of xcdroast.org have a patch (gtk2locale.patch) that is supposed to fix (or not, I quote xcdroast.org) that kind of problems. Concerning the two bugs (pkg/30183 & pkg/39184), I have rebuilt a gtk2locale patched xcdroast from pkgsrc without any success since the two bugs are still present: french accents are not displayed correctly (pkg/39183) and setup button crashes xcdroast when localized in french.
