By chance I just tried to build packages again and I noticed that I'm now able
to build lang/perl5 and other packages with pkgsrc tools using CVS pkgsrc and
fresh installed NetBSD. In fact it even auto-built pkginstall for me. I noticed
it was 20080223 so perhaps this fix was relatively recent? Is the fact that it
works now considered a permanant fix?

 THanks,
 - Jesse
