Kmail cannot connect to my postfix server using TLS. The error message I get is 
this:-

Authorization failed, An error occured during authentication: SASL (-4): no 
mechanism available: No worthy mechs found authentication not supported.

The same client side configuration works fine on other platforms, so I assume 
this is a NetBSD/pkgsrc issue.

Just configure kmail to send via smtp/tls and watch it fail sending a message
