 Some buildlink files check PKG_BUILD_OPTIONS.foo. for the options.
 
 But that assumes that the pkgsrc user has the options defined. But if 
 using a custom package from a different system or if the options are not 
 defined in the mk.conf (like were only defined on command line), then it 
 won't be good enough.
 
 Probably "pkg_info -Q PKG_OPTIONS" should be used to handle this in 
 addition to PKG_BUILD_OPTIONS.foo.
