 FYI: After the TME ethernet fix (35305), I found did some more testing with  
 FTPing large files, and found that ftping a 200Mb file caused several dozen  
 assertions on this line with NetBSD 3.0 inside the emulator, but with  SunOS no 
 assertions were caused.
