I'm seeing the same problem, also on NetBSD 3.0 (and so gcc 3)
atually using pkg_comp with libkver and 3.0 release sets and
sources installed (should be a pure NetBSD 3.0 release environment).
However, I don't use cpuflags, and had no -march=pentium3 (or
-march=anything) anywhere relevant.
I did however try the "edit xrandr.pc" trick, and removed -O2
which was there, and after that, gmplayer built without generating
the undefined reference.
Just adding a little extra info into the pot.
When this does get fixed, please do (at least) a revbump on
gmplayer.
