 That works fine (as far as I can test it anyway, sun's java doesn't
 work using pkg_comp with libkver so java packages generally don't
 build for me - there's another PR open (from ages ago) about that one).
 
 However, and I know there's nothing that can be done about this the
 way pkgsrc currently handles dependencies (totally bogus) but the
 mod claims that fop-2.7 will work fine too - but will it?   (Of
 course that's not a serious question, no-one can know what a version
 that doesn't exist will do - which is one of the problems with pkgsrc
 dependencies, there really needs to be a way for fop (or any other
 dependent package) to say 'this new version is incompatible with any
 earlier version, and anyone who wants "earlier version of greater"
 will not work with this one'.
