 It seems pango doesn't find cairo.
 Do you have this line in pango/Makefile?
 BUILDLINK_API_DEPENDS.cairo+=   cairo>=1.2.2
 
 Perhaps it needs an even newer version. Take a look at the config.log
 file, when pango tries to detect cairo.
