     I had the same problem on Solaris 9.  The proper fix I think would be to put
 the LDFLAGS in the tcp_wrappers/buildlink3.mk rather then the net-snmp/Makefile
 so that any other package that makes use of tcp_wrappers will be able to 
 benefit from this.
