 It appears the problem has gone away, so the PR can be closed. Has anything 
 changed in the framework affecting visibility of X headers?
 
 Wasn't quite sure what you meant, but I checked to see if there was an 
 appropriate option for the bootstrap script, which turned out to call the 
 configure scripts with the arguments it was called with. So I figured I would 
 add --x-includes= and --x-libraries=, but they are already passed by the 
 framework - at least now. I have no idea what changed since last time I 
 looked at it.
