Before when I ran this, I remember it was reported as a bash script... explains why strip was failing...

currently, /usr/pkg/bin/fluid is a binary (/usr/pkg/bin/fluid: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), for NetBSD 3.0, dynamically linked (uses shared libs), stripped)

Hi --- just checked out the pkgsrc again, and things seems alright (although libtool is warning about assuming "modes", which will be deprecated in the future... however, it does build alright. Consider this closed.
